Western QLD Flood Donations

In conjunction with affected producers, not for profits, businesses and local government organisations, BIRRR has created the following list of organisations looking for donations of money, time, vouchers and goods. The table states which organisations will donate 100% of your funds to those in need.

We used prior experience with other natural disasters, based on information we received in our discussions to compile the list, however please do your own due diligence when donating (read the tips below).

If you know of an organisation looking for support please email us at birrraus@gmail.com

Please note biosecurity conditions and fire ant exclusion zone conditions are required on all donated fodder for Western Queensland. If you are coordinating fodder donations, please ensure that fodder meets biosecurity restrictions and does not contain invasive weeds, seeds and pests including fire ants to prevent introducing them flood affected properties and distribution centres.

Click on the arrows to expand the table and scroll through each page.

Fake Charity Scams

Some people try to use natural disasters for their own gain. Fake charities and fundraisers have taken advantage of public generosity after past disasters

If you’re planning to donate to a charity or relief appeal:

  • look for the warning signs
  • do your homework—check the charity is legitimate. Do a free search for registered charities to make sure you’re donating to a real charity.
  • Check out the warning signs below
